## Cleanroom Core Construction Commences at Al Sajaa Site
**Sharjah, UAE — March 15, 2025** — ALKENDI Pharmaceutical Industries today announced the commencement of cleanroom core construction at its Al Sajaa Industrial Area facility, marking a pivotal transition from civil works to specialized pharmaceutical engineering.
The installation of ISO-classified cleanroom paneling represents one of the most critical phases in the facility's development. These controlled environments—ranging from ISO Class 5 (aseptic filling suites) to ISO Class 8 (support areas)—form the backbone of GMP-compliant pharmaceutical manufacturing.

- **Scope**: 4,500+ square meters of cleanroom envelope across multiple production zones
- **Classification**: ISO 5 filling suites, ISO 7/8 background and support areas
- **Systems**: Unidirectional airflow, HEPA filtration (H14), continuous particle monitoring, pressure cascade control
- **Timeline**: Panel installation Q1–Q2 2025; qualification Q3 2025
